E’ stato molto difficile scegliere la parola e la lettera con cui ‘classificare’ il lavoro di quest’uomo che conobbi tanti anni fa. Un lavoro che apprezzo moltissimo, perché le sue immagini sono oneste, pulite, vere, profonde ed estremamente belle.
Ho scelto la V di vita perché nelle sue numerose e splendide foto pulsa in tutta la sua bellezza e in tutta la sua brutalità la vita, anche quando rappresentata è la morte.

The cemetery Dom Bosco, in Peru, where are sepellite people unnamed and without document or with document, but unclaimed by relatives or someone within 72 hours. People are buried naked, with an open chest, a number written directly on the skin and in a common grave.
